Footy media legend and former player Matthew Johns was announced as one of the new minority owners of NRL club Gold Coast Titans.
Johns, his wife Trish join Triple M’s own Gorden Tallis and his wife Gemma Elder as part of the new ownership model led by majority shareholder Rebecca Frizelle.
It’s the first time former premiership players are involved in the ownership of an NRL club, as they follow Darren Lockyer’s endeavours in England with London Broncos.
