Gorden Tallis has reacted to his good mate Kevvie Walters being sacked by the Brisbane Broncos this week after an internal review into their disappointing season.
“I’ve rung some real powerful guys in our game…they say it’s a coward’s way because the CEO and the chairman don’t want to make the decision” said Tallis about Brisbane’s review.

Tallis was critical of the Bronco’s powerbrokers dismissing Walter’s just 12 months after taking the team to a Grand Final.
“I wouldn’t have made the decision, I would have given him the chance to, to see where the club was at.”
“To be in a Grand Final in three years, I think that’s certainly a pass mark in any club.”
Michael Maguire has reportedly already signed on the be Kevin Walters’ replacement as the head coach of Brisbane.
