Michael Chammas and Danny Weidler both gave an update on Daly Cherry-Evans’ future on Triple M NRL’s The Journos.
The now former Queensland Maroons captain is forced to turn his attention away from State of Origin and back onto his club future.
Rumours of Sydney Roosters getting cold feet were squashed, but DCE has continued to keep tight lipped.
But both Weidler and Chammas provided more light on the situation.
“If it doesn’t happen [sign for Roosters] he’s decided to retire,” said Chammas.
“So no Dolphins?” asked Adam Peacock.
“Nah,” responded Chammas.
“I think it’s Roosters or he’s done.”
“Roosters or bust!” added Weidler.
