Brandon Smith’s future beyond next season is uncertain after the Roosters announced the arrival of NSW hooker Reece Robson for the 2026 season.

Michael Chammas suggested the Roosters might look to offload Smith during the 2025 season.
“What if the Roosters went to the club, a prospective club and said we’ll pay his salary till June 30.”
