Aaron Woods on Triple M Breakfast went WHACK at Queensland Maroons coach Billy Slater for dropping captain Daly Cherry-Evans for State of Origin Game Two.
The Maroons have been under the microscope since their Game One disaster class and with a consecutive series loss, Slater had to make some big calls.
Though Woodsy, rattled the cage which you can see here!
And Danny Weidler and Michael Chammas both loved it as they dissected his comments on Triple M NRL’s The Journos!
“I think good on Woodsy for saying something. We need more people to say things in this Origin arena,” said Weidler.

Both journos, like most footy fans haven’t felt the buzz that former NSW Blues coach Michael Maguire created last year with his “glasshouses” comments directed at Slater but this year players have been more safe with the media which drew the ire of Chammas.
“There’s too much Mr. Nice Guy!” said Chammas.
“There’s too much of guys deciding they don’t want to talk.
“Too much following this narrative of you can’t give the opposition ammunition…
“It’s bullshit!”
