Aaron Woods Relives Andrew Johns 2005 Origin Classic “He’s The Eighth Immortal For A Reason!”

Aaron Woods on The Rush Hour explained why one of rugby league’s greatest ever, Andrew Johns, is his hero.

And he pinpoints the 2005 State of Origin series as his main example.

“He just dominated,” said Woodsy.

“He’s the Eighth Immortal for a reason.

“He missed a whole season leading before, he did his ACL.

“He comes back round 1 against the Bulldogs, gets a shoulder charge from Sonny Bill Williams and breaks his jaw, he’s out for 6-8 weeks.”
