The Audi involved in a hit-and-run in Melbourne’s Footscray on Monday has been located as investigations continue.
Police were called to the Barkly and Droop Streets intersection following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car when crossing the road at about 3pm.
A 46-year-old Maribyrnong man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

It is believed the driver of the Audi drove through a red light before hitting the man and fleeing the scene.
The unoccupied 2023 Audi Q3 silver wagon was located on Joseph Road, Footscray on Thursday morning at 1.30am.
The Audi had sustained significant damage to the front windscreen.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
