Two Charged With Murder For Alleged Daycare Hit-And-Run

A second person has been charged with murder over the alleged hit-and-run of a 23-year-old woman outside of a daycare centre.

It’s alleged the young mum was deliberately hit after dropping her daughter off at daycare in Daisy Hill, south of Brisbane last week.

A silver Toyota SUV travelling on Allamanda Drive struck the woman and failed to remain on the scene.

The female pedestrian was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she died.

A 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman are both facing charges. Police alleged the woman was driving and knew the woman who was struck.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses and dashcam vision of the incident or the moments leading up to it.
