Trump claims he’ll happily concede defeat if it’s a fair election

Polls are open in the US as Kamala Harris and Donald Trump compete to win over seven swing states.

When asked if he would accept the election results, Trump said: “I assume it’s going to be a fair election. If it’s going to be a fair and free election the answer is absolutely I will.”

Trump spoke to reporters after casting his ballot and was asked about whether he’ll tell his supporters to refrain from violence.

“I certainly don’t want any violence, but I certainly don’t have to tell. These are great people. These are people that believe in no violence. Unlike your question … you believe in violence,” Trump said.
