Three people including a 100-year-old woman and a man in his 60s have died in two separate car crashes on Tuesday.
In the first accident, a Toyota Corolla hatchback collided with a telegraph pole on Fitzwilliam Road in Toongabbie, Western Sydney.
A 100-year-old woman travelling in the back seat and a 75-year-old man in the front seat died at the scene.
The 72-year-old female driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.
Shortly after, a second fatal crash took place in Normanhurst, Northern Sydney.
Emergency services responded to a collision involving a car, a motorcycle, and two other vehicles on Pennant Hills Road.
The car and motorcycle then struck a nearby house and caught fire.
The male motorcycle driver, estimated to be in his 60s, died at the accident site.
A 36-year-old man, who was driving the car, was taken to Hornsby Hospital for mandatory testing.
Crime scenes have been established at both locations, and police are seeking dashcam footage from potential witnesses.
