Nelson Street residents expressed their concerns about the ongoing safety issues in the neighbourhood.

One resident told ABC that: “It’s quite terrifying … because it’s happening all the time. Police are always coming here — every day or every two days. Sometimes a shooting happens, sometimes fighting, sometimes stabbings — these kinds of things are not good to live near”.

Residents and witnesses can provide information by contacting the local police department.
