A 16-year-old boy has been charged with terror offences after allegedly preparing an attack at a school in Brisbane’s North. It has been alleged the teenager tried to buy firearms online.
AFP has said the investigation is ongoing, but there is no current threat to public safety.

The teenager appeared in Brisbane Childrens Court on August 17th.
The Queensland Joint Terrorism team charged the teenager with one count of acts done in preparation for, or planning, terrorist acts. The maximum penalty for the offence is life in prison.
Police did not provide details of which school was believed to be his target.
