Rather than booking out the entire Italian eatery, the 34-year-old megastar blended in with fellow restaurant patrons, much to their surprise.
Fans quickly discovered her choice of restaurants and eagerly waited outside as the duo exited the venue later in the evening.
Among the crowd was Peter Deppeler, a producer for the Kyle and Jackie O show, renowned for his knack for celebrity sightings.
Deppeler, also known as Intern Pete, shared details of Swift’s dining experience on Seven’s Sunrise the following morning.
However, his claim of obtaining a copy of the celebrity duo’s dining bill, purportedly showing a generous $300 tip on a $620 bill, was later debunked on the KIIS breakfast radio show.
Host Jackie “O” Henderson revealed that the alleged receipt was, in fact, a K-mart docket.
Swift is currently on a four-day break before heading to her performances in Sydney. However, concerns loom among Swifties regarding potential show cancellations or delays due to severe weather conditions.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a thunderstorm warning for Friday and Saturday, raising questions about the safety of the anticipated concerts.
Meanwhile, Swifties are queuing outside the Olympic Park today, spending big on souvenir items marking the artist’s Eras Tour.
Security staff revealed that fans had been lining up since 4am in the morning,
According to data collected by KPMG, around 10,500 people are expected to each spend about $500 on the day of the concert.
Findings also show that the average spend of a Taylor Swift Fan is expected to be $1300, inclusive of tickets, travel, accommodation, and merchandise.
