Ukraine’s foreign ministry is once again pushing for a 30-day immediate ceasefire, criticising Russia’s announcement as performative.

The 9th of May, the second day of this fresh ceasefire, coincides with the Soviet victory parade in Moscow. China’s and Brazil’s Presidents, as well as the Prime Minister of India, are set to attend.

It comes just 10 days since a similar 30-hour truce was announced by the Kremlin for Easter.
