Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are appealing for public assistance in relation to a targeted shooting in Fawkner last year.
Investigators have released CCTV footage and images as part of their ongoing investigation.
The shooting occurred on Wednesday, 3 October, when emergency services were called to Denys Street in Fawkner just after 9:30am.
Police believe a 49-year-old man from Lalor was lured to the address under the pretense of providing a quote for a trades job.
CCTV footage captured a white Mercedes Benz travelling along Denys Street at around 9:05am.

Moments later, a man exited the Mercedes and approached the victim, shooting him in the left ankle. The bullet passed through his ankle and exited, hitting his right foot.
The victim was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and continues to require ongoing medical treatment.
After the shooting, the gunman fled the scene, returning to the waiting Mercedes, believed to be a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLC43, which was bearing cloned number plates 1NB7FC.
A witness described the gunman as being of African appearance, around 182cm tall, with a slim build, dark hair, and brown eyes.
At the time of the attack, he was wearing a dark hooded jumper, black track pants, and black and white sneakers.
Detectives are now releasing a digital composite image of the man, hoping it will lead to information about his identity.
Detective Inspector Adam Tilley said that this was a planned and targeted attack and a significant investigation is underway.
“[Police]are keen to speak to anyone who has information about the shooting or who recognises the man in the facefit or the CCTV.
“This had the potential to impact innocent parties and we will do absolutely everything in our power to bring those involved before the court.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online.
