Police Investigating “Suspicious” Death Of Woman After Body Found In Adelaide

Police are investigating a “suspicious” death of a woman who was found inside a home in Adelaide’s north-east last night.

Police were called to a house in Kelly Road at Modbury North about 7pm on Tuesday for a welfare check of a woman living at the property.

According to the South Australia Police, police searched the house and located the woman’s body inside.

Police believe that the suspect may have left the area in a white 2008 Mitsubishi Triton ute with registration of XTN167.

The incident has shaken the community, with neighbours describing it as “shocking” and “terrible”.

One who only recently moved to this area told ABC that she “didn’t notice anything unusual” at the property.

Sergeant Peter Williams has urged individuals with relevant information to contact the police.

“Anyone who sees the vehicle is urged not to approach the ute but call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444,” Sergeant Williams said.
