The NRL will create history this month and launch season 2024 in Las Vegas, bringing their game to America’s 330 million strong market.
Two games will be played in prime time: Sea Eagles v Rabbitohs & Roosters v Broncos.
“Hopefully we can showcase just how great the great game of rugby league is,” said former NRL great James Graham.
In this episode of The Briefing James Graham, host of The Bye Round and NRL commentator for Fox Sports and Triple M, gives us the low down from Las Vegas:
“There’s going to be a special buzz about this. This is part of history. The very first time rugby league is being played in Las Vegas, in Nevada on a professional level,” Graham said.
The NRL hopes to crack the US sport market in a big way by putting the games in front of an American audience.
“Obviously, America, huge potential market there. If we can grab a small section of that then our games popularity can continue to grow.”
