Man charged with stalking Jennifer Aniston after allegedly crashing into her home

A man has been charged with stalking actress Jennifer Aniston, after allegedly crashing his vehicle into her Los Angeles home earlier this week.

Jimmy Wayne Carwyle from Mississippi, allegedly drove through a security gate on Aniston’s property before colliding with a structure on Monday night.

Aniston, who was reportedly inside the home at the time, remained unharmed. 

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman confirmed on Wednesday that charges had been laid against Carwyle, including stalking and vandalism. 

The 48-year-old  also faces an aggravating circumstance of “the threat of great bodily harm”.

Prosecutors will ask the court to set bail at $150,000.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Carwyle had been under investigation for stalking Aniston prior to the crash. 

It is believed he had been trying to contact the actress for some time, sending numerous letters and making attempts to approach her residence.

In recent months, Carwyle shared online his belief that unidentified forces were preventing him from being with Aniston.

“If someone out there can reach Jennifer Joanna Aniston Carwyle, let her know about the corruption going on trying to keep Me from her, you will be Blessed!”
