The death toll from the Los Angeles wildfires has risen to five people as blazes continue to rage across the county.
Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna confirmed that five people lost their lives in the Eaton Fire in Altadena to the ABC Los Angeles station KABC.

There are now five fires burning across Los Angeles, including the 15,832-acre Palisades and 10,600-acre Eaton fires. Smaller fires include the Hurst (700 acres), Lidia (50 acres) and Woodley (30 acres) fires.
The Palisades fire has been declared the most destructive in the modern history of Los Angeles, with preliminary estimates of damages and economic losses from the disasters exceeding $50 billion.
Three hundred structures have been destroyed in the blaze so far, with fears that could grow as the fire continue to increase in size.
At the of publishing both the Palisades and Eaton fires were zero per cent contained.
More than 1,000 homes have been destroyed, while tens of thousands have been forced to evacuate, with some suffering injuries.
UCLA Hospitals said it treated and released 21 people suffering from fire-related injuries while one victim was admitted in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services said it’s treating patients suffering from smoke inhalation.
