Harris and Trump make final appeals in key states ahead of election day

With just two days until election day, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are making last-minute pushes in different states.

Trump began his day in Lititz, Pennsylvania, where he remarked that he “shouldn’t have left” the White House.

Al Jazeera’s Alan Fisher observed that Trump appeared visibly fatigued during his rally on Saturday night.

“It’s a very low-energy sort of performance for Donald Trump, understandably, since he’s been on the road for a long time,” Fisher said.

“He started the day in Pennsylvania, is here in North Carolina, and has still one more rally to do in Georgia. He’s already running about two hours behind schedule.”

The 78-year-old has a packed schedule, holding multiple rallies a day in critical swing states.

Meanwhile, Vice President Harris spent the day connecting with voters in Michigan, addressing a Detroit church congregation.

“In just two days we have the power to decide the fate of our nation,” Harris said.

Harris confirmed she has cast her mail-in ballot for California and highlighted her ongoing outreach to Arab American voters.

She capped off her day visiting local businesses, including Kuzzo’s Chicken and Waffles in Detroit and Elam’s Barbershop in Pontiac.
