Gangland figure Sam ‘The Punisher’ Abdulrahim reportedly shot dead

Victorian gangland figure, Sam ‘The Punisher’ Abdulrahim has been shot dead in Melbourne’s north, according to reports.

It’s understood Abdulrahim was shot in the head on Tuesday morning in the carpark of the Quest Hotel in High Street, Preston.

He died at the scene.

A statement by Victoria Police said the man was yet to be identified but believed it was a targeted incident.

Multiple outlkets have reported Abdulrahim had bounties on his life.

Outlets have reported Abdulrahim as the victim, with the ABC reporting multiple sources had confirmed to them Abdulrahim had been killed.

A burnt out white Porsche was located in Reservoir after the shooting, which police believe is linked to the fatal shooting.

Abdulrahim was a professional boxer and a former Mongols bikie. Last year, an attempt on his life was made when assailants shot 17 times at Abdulrahim, all missing, at his Thomastown home.

Meanwhile in 2022, gunmen shot at Abdulrahim eight times as he left his cousin’s funeral in Fawkner.
