“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways,” the family said in a statement.
“Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”
TMZ reported Oakland Police and the fire department responded to a 911 call made by his mother at around 11.30am on Monday.
Cloud’s mum allegedly told the operator he did not have a pulse and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Cloud shot to fame for his role as Fezco in HBO’s Euphoria, starring alongside Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.
He also starred in the movie The Line and North Hollywood and appeared in music videos for artists Becky G and Juice WRLD.
Cloud’s family have asked for privacy during this time.
