Elton John has been hospitalised after becoming injured during a fall at a home on Sunday.
The 76-year-old was inside his villa near Nice, France when he had “a slip” and injured himself on Sunday.
The singer was transported to Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco to be treated for minor injuries.

According to a representative of John, he was kept at the hospital overnight for observation.
“Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure,” the representative said.
“Following check-ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”
This is not the first time John has suffered injuries from a fall after a more serious slip that sent him into surgery for a severe hip injury in 2021.
The injuries forced him to push back his tour dates at the time.
