Get ready for a hot (and maybe a bit soggy ) easter long weekend in Australia.
The weather forecast is in for the easter long weekend, and it’s unseasonably warm, with temps above 32C in parts of the country.
New South Wales
Sydney is bucking the trend with moderate temps staying around the mid-20s across the weekend. While there are potential showers on Good Friday, the rest of the weekend will be cloudy but dry.
Victoria
Melbourne is catching up from those missed summer temps earlier in the season with a surprise heat spike. The BOM predicts a top of 30C for Good Friday and Easter Sunday, with a top of 32 on the Saturday. It’ll begin to cool down on Monday.
Queensland
Queensland will be a mixed bag alternating between cloudy and rainy with Saturday looking to be the best day of the weekend with a high of 27C and clear skies.
South Australia
Great weather for Good Friday – sunny with a top of 29C. Skies will get more overcast during the weekend, culminating in a forecast shower on Sunday. Adelaide is also forecast to crack 30 degrees, with a top of 31 predicted for Saturday.
Western Australia
Perth will also be warm, with a top of 31C across the weekend and mostly sunny skies.
