“Do not travel”: VLine customers urged to make other travel plans for Friday

Regional Victorians are warned to make other plans if they are hoping to take the V/Line on Friday.

The Rail, Tram and Bus Union has notified V/Line of its intention to take industrial action involving a full train network closure for 13 hours between 3am and 4pm on Friday 8 March.

V/Line asks people to avoid any travel unless they need to – while there are limited coach services in place, these are for essential journeys.

Passengers with accessibility needs are encouraged to call 1800 800 007 before you travel so we can assist with your journey.
