The released footage captures the victims entering their red ute in front of their home, only to be confronted by a hooded assailant who exits a silver SUV parked nearby.

The gunman approaches the ute, momentarily stumbling near the driver’s side before the video abruptly ends just prior to the fatal shots being fired into the driver’s side window.

Salim and Toufik, both struck by the gunfire, were found slumped inside the vehicle.

The footage reveals the shooter’s hurried retreat to a getaway car, which was driven by an accomplice.

The assailant pauses once more to fire additional shots into the ute before fleeing the scene.

NSW Police Homicide Commander Danny Doherty encouraged individuals to come forward with information to help identify the gunman and his accomplice.

Authorities describe the act as “violent” and “atrocious”. “Whilst the footage is confronting, its important that we show this to the public to assist with this investigation,” Superintendent Doherty said.

Four individuals, aged 18, 20, 23, and 25, have already been charged in connection with the double murder and are currently facing court proceedings.

“We have been in contact with the Hamze family in relation to this footage and the time is now right, it’s been over two years since the murder,” Mr Doherty said.
