A dog named Carson has taken out the World Dog Surfing Competition near San Francisco over the weekend.
Hundreds of people attended the event where judges score canines based on their style, confidence and the amount of time they are able to stay on the surfboard.
Dozens of dogs wearing sunglasses, sporting life jackets and wild hairdos competed in the event on Saturday.
The international event raises money for a number of different animal charities and organisations.
The winner of the event was a dog named Carson, who was defending his previous title in the Small Dog Division.
Carson took out the win while donning a bright yellow lay and a small wetsuit while his owner Jill Nakano supported him in the water.
