Victoria Police are investigating a fire in Melbourne’s North after a car was driven into a barbershop and set alight.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 1 am when residents reported the blaze when a Mazda was backed through the roller door of Perfection Barber on Lorne Street in Lalor.

While no one was injured in the attack, three neighbouring residents were evacuated.
Taskforce Lunar has not been called in to investigate the suspicious fire.
A client and friend of Perfection Barber’s owner told 7News she has no idea why the shop was attacked.
“Lost for words, just mind-blowing. I was more petrified when I drove past, I was just hoping that no one got hurt,” she said.
“The world’s just gone crazy.”
