Hear more from today’s headlines on The Briefing:
The number of Aussie organizations forcing employees to work from the office three to five days a week dropping from 48 to 44 per cent since 2023.
That’s according to a national survey of around 1,000 HR professionals by the Australian HR Institute (AHRI).
The survey found nearly half of those surveyed thought that employees are more or much more productive when working from home or working in a hybrid system. Meanwhile, 25 per cent thought there was no difference.
AHRI’s chief executive said their research shows no evidence of a shift back to the physical workplace.
Also that several Aussie bosses see hybrid work as a legitimate way to boost performance.
Thousands of employees say the cut to commute time alone is enough to make their day and lives less stressful.
