Australian break through Country artist, Brad Cox joins Matty O on Triple M Homegrown as he prepares for a run of shows. But he didn’t join us in the studio… He’s a busy man and had to multitask! Joining us over the phone whilst he heard’s cattle on his farm in Queensland.
The boys talk about Brad being one of the only artists gigging during lock-down and playing the mighty MEATSTOCK Festival. We also learn a huge lesson what NOT to do before a show.
But one of the biggest moments from the interview is Cox talking about collaborating with Ian Moss on his new album.
“We became friends, went out and had a beer and you know what I mean. I actually got to get to know the guy.”

Ian Moss is a highly respected Australian musician who is known for his exceptional guitar playing and soulful voice. He was born in Alice Springs in 1955 and was raised in Sydney, where he began playing music in local bands. In the 1980s, Moss became famous as the guitarist and occasional vocalist of the band Cold Chisel.
During his career, Moss has been awarded numerous accolades, including ARIA Awards for Best Male Artist and Best Album. He has also been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame as a member of Cold Chisel.
Throughout his life, Moss has been influenced by many different genres of music, including rock, blues, and soul. He has been praised for his skillful use of the guitar and his ability to convey emotion through his music. Moss continues to perform and record music, and his contributions to the Australian music industry remain highly regarded by his peers and fans alike.
