‘Best I’ve Ever Seen’: Paul McCartney’s Australian Tour Starts with a Bang in Adelaide
Adelaide were treated to the charm and talent of Sir Paul McCartney at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre last night, with Chris ‘Ditts’ Dittmar raving about the performance this morning on Roo, Ditts & Loz.

Sir Paul McCartney kicked off his Australian leg of the “Get Back” tour with his first performance in over a year to a sell out crowd.
Listening back to clips from the night with his co-hosts Mark ‘Roo’ Ricciuto and Laura ‘Loz’ O’Callaghan on Triple M Breakfast, Ditts exclaims, “I’m going to cry!”
“I gotta tell you last night, I grew up with two brothers who were a lot older than me,” Ditts said.
“My brothers with our little record player in our bedroom played Love Me Do and all the Beatles songs,”
“And when he sang it, I thought my god this is my whole history, MY LIFE!”
Paul McCartney played many of the Beatles classics including Got To Get You Into My Life, Blackbird, Lady Madonna, Ob La Di Ob L Da, Let it Be, Hey Jude and Get Back.
He also performed songs from Wings and The Quarrymen, and gave an emotional performance of Maybe I’m Amazed on the grand piano.
The pyro-technics were stunning (and hot) during the performance of the iconic Wings track Live and Let Die as shared by @beaudelles.
Sir Paul will head to Melbourne on the 21st of October and stay in Australia before heading to Mexico City in November.
