The Anticipation Is Over—Iron Maiden Returns to Australia

Initially, Iron Maiden’s performances mesmerized European crowds, extended their influence to Western Canada, and recently took over the PowerTrip Festival in California. Fans will recall that the band has had a long-standing love affair with Australia since their first visit in the ’80s. Now, the time has come for Australian fans to mark their calendars. The tour will kick off in Perth and make its way through Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and finally Sydney. A special feature to look forward to: American metallers Killswitch Engage will be joining them as supporting acts on all shows. What to Expect – A Spectacular Show

“The Future Past Tour” showcases a unique blend of songs from their recent album “Senjutsu,” the band’s 17th studio album, coupled with hits from their 1986 seminal album “Somewhere in Time,” which was the first to feature synthesized bass and guitar sounds, alongside other fan favorites. Super-fans might be thrilled to know that the tour’s setlist occasionally features deep cuts and rarities. The tour has already been a blockbuster hit, selling out in more than 30 European cities and boasting one of the most visually stunning stage productions of Iron Maiden’s career, complete with their iconic mascot, Eddie.
