Daniel Johns’ Honest Review Of His Past Hits

Daniel Johns has opened up about his thoughts on Silverchair and his plans for new music.

Talking to Linda Marigliano on New Music, Daniel also talked candidly about his mental health and the joy he felt bonding with fans at his exhibition.

The Past Present and Future Never exhibition – running in Melbourne until December 23 – is a shrine to Silverchair and his solo career. Daniel told New Music he’s happy people have realised he still loves the band that made him famous at age 15 when Tomorrow was a hit in 1994.

“I’m so proud of Silverchair. That work is literally my life up to now. I’m proud of Frogstomp for the first time since it was released now. I used to think that record was embarrassing. Now I listen to it and think ‘that’s alright’.
