How To Manage Single Parenting When The Buck Stops With You

Whether you’re a single parent by choice or not – raising kids on your own can be tough.

There’s no one else to help through the long nights (and sometimes longer days).

Psychologist Dr Rebecca Ray says that while practical support is helpful, what can really help single parents is connection.

“We thrive as human beings because we have a biological need for connection. That connection is a form of creating or reinforcing our sense that we belong to something. . When you’re a single parent, you don’t have that on a daily basis, so it’s really important to create it.”

Rebecca talks about creating connections and other ways single parents can thrive in the latest episode of Feed Play Love.
