The act of ‘sex-tortion’ where someone tricks another person into sending intimate photos of themselves and then blackmails them, threatening to post the images online is on the rise.
This disturbing act has left many parents wondering how they speak to their children about it, so Stav, Abby and Matt caught up with Wayne Holdsworth who’s son Mac sadly took his own life after falling victim to a similar scam.
Wayne details what happened and the frustrating story around how the criminal was sentenced after his son’s death.

“I listened to that man’s voice on the telephone and when I went from Melbourne to Liverpool for the case, I heard that persons voice. I shivered and I shook because he was the man, exactly that voice that I heard on the phone” Wayne told the show.
