Oscar Allen reflects on the "funny" side of all those injuries from the Western Derby.

Oscar Allen: The “Funny” Side Of The Derby Carnage

It was absolute carnage for the West Coast Eagles out on the field in last Sunday’s Western Derby and this morning, Oscar Allen revealed what was going on within the team as the injury toll continued to build.

As Oscar revealed though, coach Adam “Simmo” Simpson could still see a “funny” side.

“Sometimes you have games where you have a lot of contact injuries, and sometimes you have games where you have a lot of soft tissue injuries, and we unfortunately had a combination of both,

“It was quite funny, at three quarter time Simmo said “boys, remember as a boy, not wanting to come off. Well great, you’re not allowed to.”
