Hughesy opens up on the passing of his dear mother Carmel after she passed away late last week.
He shared the story of her life, how she passed and some beautiful moments since.

My memory just goes back to a woman that supported me.

Hughesy loves his Mum Carmel, who has been fighting a 20 year battle with cancer.
She passed away last Friday night, surrounded by family who loved her.
Hughesy was absent from the show on Monday, but was in studio on Tuesday morning.
To close out the show, he said some absolutely gorgeous words about his dear Mum.
