“It means no primary aged child will start their first lesson with a hungry tummy,” Ian said.
This program will see more than 1.4 million meals provided to South Australian children over the next four years.
Thanks to this funding, schools with the greatest disadvantage will be given priority access, ensuring the 1 in 10 children get the breakfast they need.
