“I became obsessed” says Tommy.
“There was this young gun…My dream was to be an actual young lawn bowls player, the BEST the world has ever seen.”
“I didn’t have a lawn bowls outfit, so I would get dressed up in the closest thing I could.”
Carrie suggests that times are now different, with many more channels available on TV.
“In this day and age, no ones choosing to watch lawn bowls” says Carrie.
