When news hit that Australian soap opera Neighbours was being resurrected by Amazon, one of the biggest shocks was the announcement of US star Mischa Barton joining the series’ cast.
The US star, best known for playing Marissa Cooper in the smash teen drama of the 00s, The OC, will be making a guest star appearance in the coming season.
Recently catching up with The Herald Sun, Barton stated, ‘I was familiar with it, probably the same things that most people recognise about the show, like Kylie Minogue and the fun stuff.’
