90.9 SeaFM love to help the community and with Helping Hand they have lovely Jennifer and Lillian. Jennifer nominated her mum Lillian for Helping Hand as “she is one of the hardest workers I know”. She is a single mum of 6 kids with 4 still at home and a couple of years ago was in a car accident where she had some permeant damage chronic pain and cramps.
Lillian doesn’t stop moving she is up at 1 am for her job and then gets the kids to and from school and activities while living day-to-day with her sole paycheck saying “you’ve just got to soldier on”.
Recently their washing machine has broken adding another task for Lillian to drive to Jennifer’s house to do the washing for the household. Lillian admits that when it broke, she “actually had my arm elbow deep and I was spinning the clothes”.
