Actor Russell Crowe, confessed what he loves about The Sunshine State on Bianca, Ben & Lakey.
Russell Crowe is the President of the Australian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts (AACTA), and was involved in discussions on where the awards should be held.
“When conversations came up about do we shift back to Melbourne? Do we stay in Sydney?” says Crowe.
“There was a lot of enthusiasm from the Queensland government.”
“Queensland, in terms of what it has been contributing overall to the Australian film industry in the last 30 years, it’s got to be recognised.”
