Bianca, Ben and Lakey are joined by one of Australia’s most phenomenal voices Anthony Callea. “Behind The Voice” is Anthony’s memoir which came out on the 5th of April, sharing all his vulnerable stories and even traumatic events from Australian Idol to now. He says, “I just wanted to be as honest as possible”.
Anthony talks about being vulnerable with the stories in the book and opening up about the behind-the-scenes of Australian Idol. Admitting that he ended up in hospital after Australian Idol from exhaustion, saying “I ended up in hospital 3 times actually”. Saying he was “so guarded” back in the day when he was “told what to say, told what to do, how to sit, how to interact, how to walk into an interview”.
