B105 gave away $10,000 to their lucky Alphabucks winner this morning, but it’s what winner Katie said she will spend the money on that had hearts breaking across Brisbane.
Incredibly overwhelmed by the winning sum, Katie couldn’t contain her emotions exclaiming that the money would help her family immensely.
“My mum and dad are pensioners and can’t afford [dad’s] hearing aids,”
“I’m going to finally be able to buy my dad his hearing aids.”
“The people at the neighbours house just came out because they heard me squeal,” she cried.
This is the first time someone has won $10,000 with Stav, Abby and Matt’s this year.
