Everyone knows the Matt Agnew season of The Bachelor where we were first introduced to our favourite podcast host and then property analyst, Miss Abbie Chatfield. Well, apparently Abbie almost didn’t make it out of one of the dates.
During Abbie’s 28th birthday surprise, one of her pals reveals that Abbie almost drowned on one of her dates with Matt Agnew and we are absolutely SHOOK.
“Yeah. So, I don’t even think they showed this part of the date because look, okay, Warner Brothers, I currently work for you and I love you and it wasn’t your fault okay,” Abbie said.

“So, my last date on the Bachelor finale, we were in South Africa and… Matt and I had to get in a boat across from one side of this big river, we go across, on this little dinky boat.
“We’re going, “oh, this feels a bit suss” we have no shoes…”
Abbie details the hilarious moment their adorable parasailing date turned into an extreme sporting event leaving Abbie with two ice packs between her thighs.
“I honestly was like; this is how I die.”
