In the latest ep of It’s A Lot Abbie dives into the latest news to come out of the US, looking at the Trump Bible and the Oklahoma superintendent Ryan Walters, who has mandated that Bibles (only King James Versions) be reintroduced into schools.
Speaking on the topic, Abbie said “So Trump has Bibles that are specific Trump Bibles. Now a Bible should cost about like $5, but they’re $60 US each…that Trump profits off by the way.“
What is a Trump Bible?
The God Bless the U.S.A. Bible, also known as the Trump Bible contains additional content relating to the USA and is an edition of the King James Version of the Christian Bible. Trump has heavily promoted this Bible, and it is known as the only Bible endorsed by Trump.
The bible also includes amendments such as the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the Pledge of Allegiance but fails to include amendments 11-27 to the Constitution.
“The 13th Amendment abolishes slavery, it also has skipped the amendment that gives women the right to vote. It skips the amendment that gives everyone born in the US, US citizenship and skips the amendment about being taxed according to income.” Abbie continued.
