MAFS star Liam Cooper’s bisexuality came as a shock to basically everyone he knew, when it was unexpectedly revealed on the show to a national audience.
The thirty-year-old prison case officer was happy to reveal his orientation but on his own terms – but rather was forced to come out at his wedding on the insanely popular reality show.
Having paired up with fellow MAFS contestant Samuel Levi post show season, Cooper says he cops plenty of criticism from those who don’t believe in bisexuality, accusing him of being “gay all along”.
On this episode, Liam Cooper joins Sean Szeps to talk about the freedom gained coming out as bisexual in his 20s. He gets real about why he kept his orientation under wraps for so long, the reactions post reveal and the stigma towards bisexual men versus bisexual women.
