Fifi Box Gives Advice For Young Women Wanting To Have A Career & Children

It’s International Women’s Day, and we’re celebrating by bringing you an exclusive interview with our very own Fifi Box, who gave advice to women who are wanting to have a career and children.

“There was a time , sort of in my thirties where I went, oh, I’m obviously reaching a juncture here, where if I don’t have children soon, I’m not having children. And that is just a reality that most women face, it’s a biological clock.”

FIFI BOX GIVES ADVICE TO YOUNG WOMEN THIS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY:

We asked the women (and a couple of men) behind your favourite podcasts and radio shows to share about a time they’ve #EmbracedEquity and challenged gender stereotypes, called out discrimination, drawn attention to bias and sought out inclusion. We’re going to hear when it worked, when it didn’t, and what they learned from the experience.

You’ll hear from Carrie Bickmore, Jess Rowe, Sarah Maree Cameron,  Fifi Box, Turia Pitt, Natarsha Belling, Jamila Rizvi, Steph Claire Smith & Laura Henshaw, Erin Molan, Lama Zakharia, Loren Barry and Kymba Cahill along with Tommy Little, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody.

International Women’s Day has shared the meaning of the theme this year as:

The IWD 2023 #EmbraceEquity campaign theme seeks to get the world talking about why “equal opportunities are no longer enough” – and can in fact be exclusionary, rather than inclusive.
