Allen’s and B105’s new Brown Snake Lollies have received the official tick of approval from Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese.

After months of countless pitches, the pipe dream turned a reality for Brisbanites when confectionary giant Allens jumped on board to produce the Brown Snake Lolly.
Designed as a tribute to Brisbane and it’s iconic Brown Snake River, Brisbane’s Stav, Abby and Matt allowed the PM the ultimate honour- the first person to taste the snake.
Breaking his “strict diet,” Albo had to make the difficult decision, should the Brown Snake be cola, coffee or chocolate flavored?
“That was good, cola was good!”
“Coffee’s not very coffee… oh wait, yes it is!!! It kicks in afterwards!”
But throwing a spanner into the works, Albo and Abby bonded over a rather controversial flavour.
“Where’s the aniseed version?” Albo asked.
“I love black cats, black cats are my thing, they’re refreshing; they’re great!”
Abby was overjoyed someone finally agreed with her idea and couldn’t contain her excitement.
“OMG YES, LIKE THE BLACK CATS!!!!!!”
He also suggested that next time he came to the studio for a taste testing, it should be paired with some Sambuca shots!
“With the little coffee bean in it and you light it, now you’re talking!!!”
