In an Australian podcast exclusive, Bindi Irwin joins Life of Greatness with Sarah Grynberg to talk about the lessons Steve Irwin has taught her, the unshakable bond she shares with her mother and brother, and the joy of passing her family values onto her daughter, Grace.
Bindi also shares her years-long struggle with debilitating endometriosis, the pain she endured in silence, and the relief of finally getting answers.
“Behind closed doors I would struggle to do anything and everything…I was getting so sick from this disease, I was in so much pain all the time”.
After many years of increasing sickness, getting countless scans and struggling to get an answer from doctors, Bindi was finally diagnosed with endometriosis.
“I was diagnosed after 10 plus years of being really sick, endometriosis is an enormous problem for so many people and it’s not being talked about a lot”.
Bindi also speaks to Sarah about how she honours Steve Irwin’s legacy and how she manages her grief after losing her father at the age of eight.
“Time changes your grief, time changes things and your perspective, I know the feeling of grief and sadness of losing dad, that feeling is just a part of me, it’s like a scar on your heart”.
Listen now to the powerful conversation about overcoming adversity, honouring legacy, and finding strength through purpose.
